Katherine Carlin

Ms. Carlin approaches complex legal, social, and workplace problems using a systems science framework to uncover elegant and powerful solutions. Data-driven in her analysis and deeply empathic with her clients, Ms. Carlin leads with kindness and follows through with a fierce commitment to just outcomes.

Her feminist legal practice is dedicated to serving female founders and women in tech. She focuses on reducing maternity attrition from the tech workforce and eliminating gender-based wealth disparities. Prior to starting her current practice, Ms. Carlin was a startup founder who built a specialized coworking space with onsite childcare on the San Francisco Peninsula.

Ms. Carlin holds advanced degrees in Law and Decision Science from U.C. Hastings College of the Law (2008) and Minerva University (2017), respectively. Her undergraduate degree is from U.C. Santa Cruz.
